I know writing and dreaming, for me, are both parts of who I am and probably reveal way more about how I think than I really want anyone to know. As an adult, I have never stopped dreaming or writing, but it seems harder to share with others.
In a weird way, it seems like it would be easier to sing a song on American television, so soon forgotten and lost in the muddle of media, than to publish a novel, which is putting your dream on paper that just sort of hangs in the air like a fog that could be a beautiful promise of approval or the horrible crushing weight of rejection.
Tangent? I'll be posting about this on Thursday.Heather McGrailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06977311711658865833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8531303716851976145.post-28898091045778321392013-05-27T17:42:35.330-04:002013-05-27T17:42:35.330-04:00Thanks Doug...good to hear from you. Are we heading to a graphics-only world of literature? Pics and animation in place of words? The fiction writers of the future will need to know how to write software if they ever want their stories told!Randy Wiremanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04705280558479129739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8531303716851976145.post-64675380087545074212013-05-27T11:05:17.152-04:002013-05-27T11:05:17.152-04:00Great post!
