Silent Night

Silent night, holy night, all is calm, all is bright

Be calm, dear friends, for it is a holy night. No matter your religion, it is a night to calm the desperate fears and quiet the oppressive worries.

Round yon virgin Mother and Child, holy

Not everyone can celebrate, of course. Poverty, war, and disease; these things seem so distant to many, yet are so very real.

Infant so tender and mild,

Yet, for this one moment...this one night, there is hope. As millions of hearts turn toward the thought of peace, our minds begin to work out how.

Sleep in heavenly peace,

All is not lost, my friends, for there will be time for all things. Yes, Randy, even writing. Great things will come from this next year. Great and wonderful things because this wonderfully silent night gives us hope.

Sleep in heavenly peace.

  1. Well said, Mike. And "Great and wonderful things because this wonderfully silent night gives us hope." I do have hope. Peace, Brother.
