She pressed her thin finger on the picture; the edge of her pink rose-painted fingernail tapped the cell phone screen. 

Hyacinth, she agreed when her sky blue-eyed son corrected me. 

Hyacinth, she nodded and flashed her eyes blue-skied towards me. 

Hyacinth, she wished this new reality upon me.

With love and forever in memory of my lovely Mother-in-Law, Carol Schultz. We will have many conversations forevermore, and I promise to share all that I know and, without hesitation, all that I don’t know.
